Very early morning breakfast options in Westchester?
Hi. Dropping someone off at Westchester County airport at 5:00 AM on a Saturday. Having rarely seen that hour of the morning, we're looking to take the opportunity to find some good breakfast grub before we go home to nap. We'll be headed back to NW CT, but are willing to go anywhere in Westchester/Fairfield. Any good 24/7 diners around?
Thanks!

One of the great Westchester surprises for breakfast is Le Jardin du Roi in Chappaqua. A REAL restaurant serving breakfast!! Fantastic omelettes, french toast, pancakes, bloody marys mimosas, and if the weather is good a sublime patio outside.
This is an unlikely surprise, a piece of France in Westchester. Definitely a MUST for breakfast!

Wow, that spot on the map for the Thornwood Coach is so wrong it's amazing. Now, when I lived in Thornwood, that place was called the Pavillion, and I wasn't a big fan, but my last visit was 17 years ago.
I gotta say I'm a big fan of the Star Diner in White Plains. If you look past the cheezy facade, it's a real classic with food to match. I usually get the scrambled eggs with cheese and I ask for French fries instead of their home fries. Lunchier stuff, like burgers, tuna sandwich, BLT, shakes, is also good.

I love the Thornwood Coach Diner - which is one of my 24/7 go-to spots. If you'll be in the area at 7 AM (8 AM on weekends) the Wobble Cafe in Ossining has some uniquely good breakfast items.

re: spa
Well, guess where I had breakfast today! The coffee was pretty weak but didn't have that awful bitter taste that the Pleasantville Diner seems to specialize in, and the feta/spinach omelette (my go-to diner breakfast choice) was quite good--light and fresh tasting. Thanks for the tip. We'll be back.
