Indian food and Chinatown Noodles?
Husband & I coming up to Vancouver(from Seattle)for a few days.
Want to eat specifically in the Indian District(Main St?)for some quality,
spicy food.
And also looking for Chinatown restos. that perhaps make their own
hand-pulled noodles on site.
Any info greatly appreciated asap as we are leaving tomorrow(Tues AM)for
spur of the moment trip.
Thanks!

Unfortunately, neither of those two areas have what you seek.
For hand-pulled noodles - Peaceful (Cambie St - close downtown), Legendary (two locations - Main St and Denman), Northern Meixi (Crystal Mall Food Court), Xi'an (Richmond Public Market Food Court).
For Indian - Punjabi Market doesn't really have a "quality" Indian place. I suggest Saravanaa Bhavan (vege South Indian, Broadway near Oak), House of Dosas (Dosa- focused South Indian at Kingsway/Knight), Rangoli (Vij's "budget" pan-Indian-fusion restaurant on 11th/Granville), or Salam Bombay (downtown - North Indian).

Food in Little India is forgettable and occasionally regrettable-Chinatown is little better.
Legendary Noodles is the usual suspect for hand pulled product-three locations.

I've been off Indian for a while now so I'll let someone else chime in-wouldn't bother with theplace on 11th though no matter how many gushing reviews that pap generates..
