Shower in Philadelphia

citygirl1 Apr 26, 2010 01:50 PM

Are there any restuarants in the city that have parking? I'm wondering if my best bet is the Passyunk Avenue area which is fine, but not sure how it would all work to use the PPA lots for 45-50 people. Not so sure I'm comfortable asking guests to pay expensive valet fees for a shower they're already bringing a gift to. Any suggestions would be helpful. I really don't want to resort to the suburbs for a shower just b/c of parking when there's so many great restaurants right here.

Distrito may be fun and I've never had trouble finding street parking in that area, although never there during the day on a weekend. Diehard south philly people always have celebrations at Poppi's(sp) which does have plenty of parking. Went to a group dinner there once, fine, typical italian food, nothing special.

Estia http://www.estiarestaurant.com has validated parking at the Bellevue (above the restaurant) but I can't remember if it covers the whole fee or if it is just discounted.

If either free or cheap parking, definitely do Estia.
