KEEN's: Best Room to Reserve for a Birthday Dinner?

We've lived in NYC many years, eat out frequently, but have never been to Keen's. Thinking of having a birthday dinner there for my husband in June with our 2 grown sons. In your opinion, what is the nicest room for such a celebration? TIA!

Without question my favorite room is the bull moose room. Do not miss it! Huge moose head hanging on the wall. Great ambience and very cozy upstairs. Perfect for a party of four. You feel like you are in an elite dining club.

I agree with the Bull Moose room.

Thanks for your suggestions...perhaps I should go check it out!

I think it will depend on the size of your party. I wold suggest you go do a site check and pick the room that you like best. I just went to a birthday/scotch tasting in the Lillie L. room and it was nice. There are some other rooms you may prefer, though (and I may prefer as well).

Great suggestion, there will be 4 of us if anyone else cares to weigh in.

Keens is our favorite NYC steakhouse. I love the main dining room, and whenever possible, I like to sit in one of the booths each of which can accommodate four.

Good to know about the main dining room and a booth sounds lovely, thanks!

I misread your question and may have given you bad advice. I thought you were asking about the various private rooms for a party. For diner for 4, yes, main dining room would be my preference.
