Baltimore: Best store-bought potato salad

I need potato salad for a large party and I don't want to make it. Can anyone recommend a store-bought salad in the Baltimore area that is reliably good?

    1. LOVE the potato salad from Andy Nelson's BBQ, they sell it carry-out.

Geresbecks off of Eastern Ave. is known to have good potato, pasta, shrimp salads etc.

      1. Red, Hot and Blue's. Hands down. You can get large containers to go.

A regional BBQ chain skewing closer to DC -- there's one on Route 50 between Annapolis and the Bay Bridge.

There's one in Laurel, too, on Main St. I believe. That's where I go. We sometimes get bulk carryout for office parties, the potato salad always disappears!

I have had both and think that Andy Nelson's potato salad is better.
I was in Eddie's of Roland Park Saturday and they had 5 different potato salads at their deli counter.

Yes! But they let us sample them all! I am going to swing by Andy Nelson's this weekend.

I like how you think, ronandaim!!! Time for a taste-off!!! (I found a recipe online for what the woman claims is a very close replica of Red, Hot & Blue's. I plan to try it this weekend to see how close she got) Google "red, hot & blue potato salad"
