Graduation Dinner-UWS

Looking for a place for dinner after a graduation ceremony. I don't live up there so I don't know where to begin. We are willing to try any variety of food. We are only 4 so that should be easy. Graduation is on a weeknight if that helps. We aren't limited by price so any suggestions are helpful.

  1. Any preference for style of food? There are quite a few nice options up here. Fine dining or more informal, Asian/European/American/locavore, for example.

    1. Friend of mine had her Columbia graduation dinner at Per Se in Columbus Circle. Now if your price is truly unlimited, that would be a memorable experience.

Otherwise it would be helpful to know your cuisine preference as NYCTechy suggests above.

We really are open as far as style. Italian is always an easy option, along with American or Asian. I don't think we want anything to "out there" or different.

Ouest is pretty nice, and culinarily uncontroversial. Telepan too. Picholine looks nice but have not actually eaten there (tho' did eat at Artisanal, which has same owner, and we enjoyed a lot).

For Italian - A Voce Columbus.

if money is really no object then Per Se, Masa, Jean Georges
