Big Daddy's Restaurant in R Hill
It's around the corner for me; I've gone in for breakfast a number of times, just a couple for lunch or dinner. Breakfast is good - honest to goodness home fries, not deep fried tater tots, generous portion of sausage or ham, even rye toast if you want. Coffee's not quite as strong as I like it, but it's not horrid by any means. Way better than the "eggnotsosmart" chain down the road.
Lunch and dinner are forgettable, as in, I've forgotten all the details. Clearly not great enough to remember, but also not awful enough to stick with me either. My best recollection is standard neighbourhood restaurant fare - an OK burger, salads with Kraft dressing, pork chops with jarred applesauce, etc. It's not going to be revolting, but it's not "chowish" either.
If you're going for a traditional breakfast, I'd say "Go!", but if you're looking for lunch or dinner, there are many better choices just going over to Yonge, or down Bayview to Major Mac.
