Vermont Restaurant Week
Who all is going? Where are you going and why there? Any thoughts on the restaurants that are participating? Anywhere you WOULDN'T go? I'm trying to decide where we're going! :)
You can find the list of restaurants on the website for the event:

It's being held May 14-20. :)

Went to The Belted Cow last night. While the food choices on the Restaurant Week menu were not what I would have ordered had the full menu been available, all of the food was delicious and extremely well prepared. My favorite was the Roasted Pete’s Beets, Endive and Arugula Salad with Boucher blue cheese vinaigrette. Every bite was a pleasure. My companion had the barbecued ribs and raved about them. I had some of the grilled asparagus that accompanied the ribs and they tasted like candy! Although typically the Belted Cow offers barbecue on Tuesdays only, for Restaurant Week they are having a special each night, so be sure to call ahead an order the barbecue dish,

I have reservations at Hen of the Wood for the 14th, and am still deciding on my second choice; I'm having a hard time justifying more than 2 dinners out in one week. I just love their food and $35 for 3 courses is just too good of a deal to pass up! I'm really intrigued by Michael's On the Hill's all-ramp menu, but I'm not sure if I want to make the trek from Burlington to Waterbury/Stowe twice in one week.
I would also like to know where others are going! Can't wait.

I think its an absolute shame that there is nothing in Southern VT. Its primarily centered around the Burlington and Montpelier areas with only a few exceptions. I'm starting to build some resentment about the lack of inclusion for where I live and eat in "VT" activities and events.

re: Morganna
Verde would have loved to participate, but restaurant week fell during our "Mud Season" break. I think like Bri mentioned Burlington is a ways from here. It's a bummer but not to many restaurants down south are paying attention to what 7days is doing. The Rutland Hearald, the Journal, the Message, and so on need to do a better job promoting local restaurants like 7days.
