Goldstone's ?

Would you reccomend Goldstone's for Chinese. Would like one within walking distance of Entertainment district.

    Depends on what kind of Chinese you want. Goldstone is a "noodle house", meaning they are best for quick meals, like wonton noodles, BBQ pork on rice, congee etc. Simple things like stirfried shrimps with veggies are OK too. Just don't get dinner dishes like steamed fish, Peking duck etc.

      Thanks, Teep. Anything else you would recommend as better and not too pricey in the area?

        Well as I said depends on what you are looking for. If you can go as far as Goldstone then Dundas is just maybe 3 minutes more away. For Cantonese dinner, Taste of China on Spadina just north of Dundas, or Noble Seafood on Dundas just west of Spadina are quite serviceable. Chinese Traditional Buns further west of Noble has authentic Northern Chinese dishes.
