Best Prices this Week for: Unsalted Butter, Large Eggs, Baker's Chocolate, Unbleached Flour, Rice Krispies etc.

I need to bake about 50 dozen Brownies and Rice Krispie Squares this week. I need to buy the supplies and as you can imagine the small savings really start to add up on such a large batch.

I'm hoping that someone might have some ideas where I can get the following items on sale today or tomorrow.

Unsalted Butter
Large Eggs
Baker's Chocolate
Unbleached White Flour
Rice Krispies (or generic)
Marshmallows

I'm located downtown east, so I prefer stores on that end of the city.

Shoppers Drug Mart has eggs @ $1.99 with a limit of 2, and after limit @ $2.29
and butter is @ $2.99 with limit of 4, and after limit @ $3.99

Shoppers seems to have these amazing loss leaders quite often. It's just difficult to get them on my shopping route. Maybe they have an email service.

No Shoppers near you?! I'm amazed - they're springing up so quickly, it almost seems like they're in competition with Tim Horton's. I live at Elgin Mills and Bayview, and there's a Shoppers there, one at Bayview and Major Mac, and another at Bayview and 16th. Head over to Yonge, and there's one at Yonge and 16th, one just a bit south of Major Mac and one just a bit south of Elgin Mills (and it's 24 hours). That's six in an area just over 3.4 square miles!

Made me laugh what you said about competition with Tim Horton's -- my Shoppers has a Tim Horton's outlet inside of it.

Unsalted is $3.99 at Highland Farms. They frequently go down to $3.50, so maybe you could get a quantity price.
Eggs $2.15/doz and chocolate chips will probably be cheaper at Costco. Their flour is bleached.

I'm not sure which day of the week their sale prices start/end, but as of yesterday Metro had Lactantia butter for $2.99.
