In Baltimore this Saturday for B+O Museum Event

Pepeto Apr 23, 2010 07:48 AM

Hi, me and a large group of friends and our kids (8 adults + 6 kids) will be in Baltimore for an event in the B+O Rail Museum.
What's a good and cheap option for lunch with such a large group with kids?
We would like to keep it in the Harbor/Fells Point or thereabouts.

Alexander's in Fells is good and kid-friendly.

Lexington Market would offer a wide variety, from crab cakes/oysters (Faidley's), to deli (Mary Mervis), to sausage (Polock Johnny's), etc., with lots of space upstairs to sit. You could also send an advance party two blocks down the street to Trinacria, 406 N Paca St , for outstanding sandwiches and panini and bring some back for the adults.

Lexington Market is not for everyone, but it's good food, a slice of Baltimore life, dead cheap, and it's perfectly safe and rather close to the B&O Museum.
