You could also do the Monday Room on Elizabeth for really interesting wine in a nice, quiet setting.

go to the bar at the cooper square hotel. they have some great drinks. if not that, check out madame geneve around the corner from double crown. both have great cocktail menus, are fun, and less than 5 minute walk from il buco.
