  1. If it is anything like his Sydney restaurant then it is probably Neil Perry's "Rockpool Bar & Grill". Very good aged beef with a good choice of styles. Here is an extract from the menu:

David Blackmore full blood wagyu (All Wagyu from 9+ Marble Score Animals):
    Rib Eye 200g 40 days $110.00

Cape Grim dry aged 36 month old grass fed:
    Rib-Eye on the Bone 350g 58 days $58.00
    T-Bone 400g 32 days $45.00
Fillet Minute Style with Cafe De Paris Butter $39.00
    Fillet 250g $50.00

Rangers Valley dry aged 300 day grain fed:
    Rib-Eye on the Bone 500g+ 84 days $75.00
    Fillet 250g $65.00

Undoubtedly Perry. Other meat specialists in Melbourne would be Adrian Richardson at La Luna, and The Point at Albert Park.

Oh, and getting rave reviews is the Station Hotel in Footscray - its a pub (hotel means pub in Australia) and shifts a lot of steak at very good prices

I agree, Station Hotel has a pretty decent list of steaks. Have been there a couple of times. Definitely a go to place for steak in the west.

third for the Station. As most are aware Rockpool has a great selection of steaks but not everyone wants to pay high end prices. The Station has a great selection of steaks at reasonable prices.
