Great view, pricey menu, just OK food. There are way better places to eat in OC, though having a cocktail on the patio at Orange Hill is very nice. What type of experience do you want while you sneak behind the Orange Curtain?

2nd Napa Rose. Sit @ the Chef's Counter if you want some excitement.
There are also a lot of ethnic (and non-ethnic) options if you do a search. Anaheim is a frequent topic which might explain why you're not getting too many replies.

Depending on when you go, 20 minutes could be 5 miles or 20...
I hated Napa Rose when I went a few years back. Not the food, it is OK, and not the physical plant, the room is beautiful, but the experience. I don't want to eat in a huge barn surrounded by tables of 10 wearing shorts and with kids wearing Mickey Ears and paying PSP while Mom & Dad have an expensive dinner on vacation. A friend of mine loves Catal, which is very close and in Downtown Disney.
The Hobbit gets mixed reviews, but it is supposed to be a wonderful experience, even if the menu is dated (I have not been). Marche Moderne is generally considered the best in OC (again, I have not been), but it is on the very fringe of what I would drive in 20 minutes.
You can look at the current thread on South Coast Plaza dining options, those are at the edge of the 20 minute limit. On your other post I recommended Brodard Chateau, an upscale Vietnamese right off the freeway. There is also the Green Parrot Cafe in Santa Ana (may be long gone by now, can't find updated info). I have not been in a while, but it is set in a nice courtyard and the food is good and reasonable.
When I want a nice dinner, I usually head south and/or east of your 20 minute drive time into Newport or Laguna. With no traffic, you are looking at 30 to 40 minutes or so at a minimum.

re: ocshooter
Green Parrot Cafe has been closed for a couple years I believe.
There are some good options in downtown Orange near the plaza, Gabbi's Mexican Kitchen for excellent unique Mexican food and Citrus City Cafe is also very good.-----
