I am looking for suggestions for a restaurant that will take a group of about 60-65 people.

This is a conference wind-up dinner, and we will pay up to about $40/head.

In the past, we've done different ethnic themes (Chinese, Greek) and would like to continue the tradition.

We were thinking Korean, but are open to suggestions!

Try Hart House Gallery Grill. They definitely have the space and the food is excellent. Does your budget include wine as well, or is that just for food?

The $40/head is just for food... any international suggestions??

Looks good - i was looking into them for an event too - but they said they use peanut oil - and that would kill some of our guests.

With 60 people it might be best to pick a smaller restaurant and take it over for the night. This could work for Korean dishes, served family style, or a Japanese sushi place that could do up platters/boats of assorted sushi, plus communal servings of tempura, teriyaki, curry, katsu, etc. Italian would be perfect for this style of service, as would Greek (though you say you've already done that). There is a restaurant called Korea House or Korean Village (I can't remember which one) that would probably rise to the occasion with sufficient notice. Seoul House at Dufferin and Orfus Road has a private room for parties and can handle big groups. It's not as centrally located, but there's ample parking in the plaza. Grano could probably handle a group of 60. Another idea would be to take over an Indian buffet on Gerrard for a sitting. Let them know in advance that you'll need the entire restaurant and guarantee that your veg and meat eaters alike will be adequately accommodated.

ah, well, yes that would sure put a damper on the festivities.

If you're thinking Korean - then Korean BBQ is always good for a group! Flat rate of $12.99 at dinner for a place like Korean Grill House. Plus everyone can be social and cook their own food. For vegetarians, I believe there is an a la carte menu.
