Beemster Vlaaskaas is in the cheese section at my local Fresh & Easy (in SGV, but probably at your local one too?) and I'm guessing it's probably cheaper there than at Surfas or Gelson's...
Gelson's Markets usually carries the Vlaskaas (my husband is crazy for it too...we had to stop buying it!). Sometimes just the classic Beemster. I have the best luck at the Century City Gelson's, though you might check the Pacific Palisades or Marina del Rey store.
