Birthday Dinner for Husband

I have a reservation at Commerce, Lupa, and Scarpetta for my husband's birthday next month. I know he loves Scarpetta so I made a reservation there. What do you guys think about Commerce and Lupa? I'm having a tough time deciding. Any advice would be great. Thanks!

Go to Scarpetta, it's wonderful. I love Lupa but it's much more casual and not a "special occassion" place in my opinion!

I second Commerce. That block this time of year as everything is blooming is gorgeous. The cocktails are fun and the food is excellent.

We loved Commerce. The block its on makes you feel like you left the city. The food was excellent from start to finish and so was the service. The place is loud and on Fri or Sat the bar will be packed.
Lupa and Scapetta are both Italian, Commerce is not. Commerce does have some great pasta dishes but it is not strictly Italian. You will not be dissapointed.
