Has anyone tried this place yet?

Had a very good dinner tonight. Waitress was wonderful, the only kink was some food coming out soon, but not bad. Meats are very good, looking forward to more. Nice beer and wine glass, and they have appropriate glassware for the beer and wine, very nice. The desserts looked wonderful... wish I had more room. Really wish I did.

Yeah but we had charcuterie then salads then entrees. The salads came while we still had charcuterie, which didn't bother me, but if you have a two top the space starts getting a little small. So they tried to clear the charcuterie, but we weren't finished. So they at first took the salads back but I told the waitress they could just put it down so they brought it back. Which was nice because the rabbit rillette tasted very good with my leek salad. They cleared salads before entrees came though. Really not a big issue for me at all. And giving how good everything was very minor quibble.

I hear you, it bothers me when a waiter is removing my plate and I haven't finished it =(

I think it officially opened today. Based on my recent experience at Northside Social, Liberty Tavern's other new venture down the street, I would wait a few weeks (or at least a few days) until all the kinks get worked out.

I was there last night. It was packed, but a fun crowd and tolerant of the few kinks. Friendly staff. It has a french brasserie style menu, with some german-style influences. Moules, steak frites, charcuterie, spaetzle, several fish dishes, that kind of thing. There's also a few raw bar offerings.

Very nice decor, with a nice bar/lounge are down one side and a dining area on the other side. I like the white subway tile behind the bar. The open kitchen is downstairs and so are the bathrooms (which also have an interesting design).

Lots of beers on tap including a few I don't see that often in the area and several wines by the glass, maybe 10 each red and white plus a rose.

I hesitate to review a restaurant on its first night, but I enjoyed my meal (steak frites) and will definitely be back to try out more of the menu over the next few weeks.
