Birthday party w/ a group of about 15
From San Diego here and I'm trying to set something up for a friend's birthday this Friday. We're going to be a decent size group of about 15 people, all in our late 20s, like good food, good beer, good cocktails, and a lighter/non-stuffy atmosphere.
These are some of the options I had been considering but sure if any will work better for a group of our size (preferably with reservation). Are there any other good options I'm missing?
Flour + Water
Pizzeria Delfina (or would Delfina work better? Which Pizzeria Delfina location?)
Commis (how big of a group can they fit? might be an option for Sat. smaller group)
Let me know what you think.

Putting Friday night in Open Table 6:30 for 15 finds openings at some board familiar spots like B44. Belden Taverna, Bushi Tai, Fringale and Lulu along with quite a few others. Check it out.

I would call around and see where you can get reservations at this late date for a group of 15, and then once you have tentative reservations, come back and see which of those would work better. I'd be surprised if you could get reservations at most of these places for this Friday anyway, let alone for a party of 15 people. Commis is tiny, and I wouldn't go there with more than a group of maybe six people, but four is probably better. A 16 has a private room, but I'm not sure if they book it out for Friday nights. I don't know if Pizzeria Delfina is big enough (I've only been to the Mission location), but you can't make reservations there. Nopa only takes reservations for parties of 8 or less.
