Anybody know who's selling fresh local asparagus right now? Or am I rushing the season a bit?

A vendor at Arlington's Columbia Pike Sunday Farmers Market had some yesterday. I believe many markets had it for the 1st time this past weekend, and next weekend most everyone should have a few asparagus-toting vendors.

There was tons of it at Dupont Circle's Farmers Market this Sunday....but you have to get there early. 2 Sundays ago they sold out by the time I got there (noon) so I woke up early this past Sunday and was able to get 2 delicious bunches for $4/each at the Sunnyside Farm stand.

There was also tons of it at the Waverly farmer's market if you're closer to Baltimore.

Asparagus season lasts about a month once the first stems shoot up (freeze and frost dependent). We're about a week into the season in DC. Since there are farms from Pennsylvania down to Virginia the season lasts about 6 weeks or so. Therefor, you should be able to find it at most farmer's markets for the next few weeks.
