Dinner Time Dim Sum at CBS Seafood

Chandavkl Apr 18, 2010 01:58 PM

Just saw a newspaper ad indicating that CBS Seafood in Chinatown now serves dim sum at dinner time. Don't know if these are just the leftovers from the take out section or whether there's a dim sum guy there at night cooking them up. Sounds like heresy to me, but hey if there's a demand for it, why not?

Personally, I like their lobster with noodles.

Are they going to have cart ladies roaming the restaurant competing with the waiters for space?

I don't know if CBS has a bar, but dim sum and a good double sctotch seem to really go together. P.S. No ice, water or soda in the scotch.

I wonder if anyone has tried the "evening dim sum".

I had it for brunch yesterday....can't imagine it's any different.

Maybe just older, less fresh and a bit more coagulated?

It's how it coagulates inside your body that matters.

That reminds me, got to get over to Ye Olde Kings Head for scones and clotted cream one of these summer days...
