Hello all!

A few years ago when we were in town we ate at Nonna's Restaurant in Vestavia Hills. We had the most amazing white chocolate bread pudding there. It didn't seem like bread at all - the consistency was actually completely like pudding.

Now we are back and I see Nonna's has closed. Does anyone know of any other restaurant that approximates Nonna's bread pudding? It was divine!

Thanks!

I've never been to Nonna's, but Bottega has a great white chocolate bread pudding. It's very smooth and not bready at all. It comes warm with toasted pecans on top and they pour on a bit of creme anglaise. Very yummy!

I haven't had Nonna's or Bottega's bread puddings...but I do enjoy the white chocolate bread pudding at Rogue Tavern. It's gooey (so much closer to pudding than bread), and has a dusting of cocoa on top.
