Barbeque Exchange in Gordonsville Virginia

THE BEST BRISKET, and HOMEMADE PICKLES I have EVER had, the rest of the BBQ is outstanding as well!! The chicken is excellent as well, but it's all the wonderful and fun "sides" that we loved. The mac n' cheese, while a standard that most bbq places have, they have taken the time to make really well, it's very tasty. Then there's all the wonderful little surprises of sides like pickled cabbage, the pickled hot peppers, and do try the "FRIED" pickles, can't be beat. The atmosphere, and quick and witty staff are great. My only regret was that I didn't try anything sweet, but the cookies and cupcakes look terrific as well. Something about the attention they pay to building great flavours into all their cooking and barbeque techniques will bring them great success. Or at least I certainly hope so, because each and every time we're in that neck of the woods we look forward to going there! Lee Tetrault, Powhatan, Virginia

The owner is a serious chef at one of the local inns; this is his "fun" project and probably explains why the sides are all so good.
