would love a reco for 3 generations of diners

  • 1

You folk have been great in sending me to really good restaurants: here's the latest challenge ....

Three generations of diners, (six in total) ranging in age from 23 to 73 wanting good food (fresh seafood & well-prepared beef appear to be on the fantasy list: is there a place that does both well?). This is a regular celebration, and we don't want to repeat our recent Chinese and Indian feasts. But Thai, Vietnamese and any Euro or fusion cuisine would fit nicely. It will be next Sunday after the ballgame, so anywhere west of the Skydome, but not necessarily close to it, since we will all be heading northwest afterwards by car, would be perfect. We are a pretty open group with no allergies, restrictions or intense dislikes, and our price range would be moderate, not cheap and cheerful, but not shoot the moon either. Thanks in advance!

  1. Brassaii (pardon the spelling if wrong) at King/Spadina would be my choice. They have recently given the restaurant a facelift (looks great)- the menu is diverse appealing to all (and always delicious), and not crazy expensive. Service is always good.
