Bar Hopping before Zaytinya
830 PM reservations at Zaytinya next saturday night with friends of ours from Baltimore. Going to bar hop for about 75 minutes prior to eating. Could you map out a logical and fun bar hop course in the Penns Qtr- Verizon Center- Chinatown area that we might enjoy prior to dinner. Plus dessert...should we stay at Zaytinya or is there a great dessert in the vicinity that we should hit.

I would also add on Ping Pong Dim Sum, which is v. close to Zaytinya and has really tasty drinks- my favorite is the Lemongrass + Lime cocktail. They do HH specials on drinks every day so it'd be a good chance to try it out :o) Info here: http://www.pingpongdimsum.us/files/pi...

I had this dessert at Zatinya two weeks ago & it was delish - like the article says, a perfect way to end an Easter meal. I also liked the look of their coffee, tea & dessert wine list. http://projects.washingtonpost.com/re...

This is what I would do:
Start off at PS7--enjoy one of Gina's delicious signature cocktails. Then head to Proof for a glass of Prosecco or Champagne, then head over to Oya for one more cocktail or sake. It's right next door to Zaytinya so this will bring you close to where you need to be. (Actually starting at PS7 and taking this route will slowly take you where you need to be).
For dessert, skip Zaytinya and head over to Coco Sala for delicious dessert and coffee.
Have a great time. Seems like a fun way to see the best that Gallery Place/Chinatown has to offer.
