Downtown Orlando / Winter Park Restaurant Recommendations

  • 5

I am graduating in the beginning of May and want to celebrate at a restaurant with really good food. I am looking for a restaurant in the likes of Ravenous Pig. I don't get to visit the area often so I'm not sure if anything has opened in the area that'd be cool to try. Any recommendations?

  1. you say "in the likes of Ravenous Pig" Is there a reason you don't want to go to ravenous pig? Price? group size, pickey eaters, feeling like not everyone will find what they want on the menu?

I'm asking so I can try to figure out exactly what you need, obviously you are looking else where because ravenous pig may not suit thisi kind of outing. or you are just curious about what else is out there.

If you are looking downtown I would suggest Ceviche, call ahead and resvere for a large group. It's tapas style and its fun to just order a bunch a stuff and share it.

The ravenous pig is all booked up on the day that I'm looking to reserve and, honestly, I'd like to try something new because I tend to always eat there when I'm in the area. Also, I will have a guest who is allergic to citric acid, so the restaurant has to be able to accommodate some unique demands. Thanks for your suggestions.

Have you considered Luma on Park? Its food is just as good as The Pig's. Maybe Norman's? Bluezoo? Primo?

    2. What about "K" in College Park? Has anyone been to the new location?
