Good food and basketball tonight for one.

I am in Chicago for one night and would like to catch some basketball tonight while eating well (oh and must have alcohol.) The type of food or price range doesn't matter, although because I will be alone, my preference would be for a restaurant that serves at a bar. I am staying at the James Hotel at Ontario and Rush and would like to walk. My original plan was to sit in their lobby bar where the food is served from The Primehouse but, unfortunately, they aren't showing the games.

Thanks.

A quick look at google maps shows ESPN zone, Rock bottom Brewery, Rockit, Fado's and a bunch more all within a block to six block radius. I'd pick Rock bottom or Fado's(Irish). Ask your concierge for more info. The options are practically endless.

Sure google maps works to find food, but this is Chowhound, ESPN zone? Really? That's good food?

Not in my opinion but you mentioned eating "well" which could mean practically anything. I was trying to give you a range of options. If you don't want help, don't ask because I really don't need to waste my time helping unappreciative jerks.

          Thanks then.
The best Chicago has to offer is ESPN Zone and DAFS. I am appreciative.
