William Sonoma Rich & Creamy Hot Chocolate (Seasonal)

The tin of William Sonoma Rich & Creamy Hot Chocolate is still sitting in our pantry. Can't say we're a fan. Maybe we weren't using enough chocolate to milk, or maybe we need to add sugar?

Anyways, I was thinking of baking cookies or desserts with it. Can I just melt it to use it in a recipe? Anyone care to give a non-baker some directions?

  1. Is that the WS Hot Chocolate that comes in a can/ metal tin? in 2 flavours: chocolate & peppermint chocolate?
    I have used the the peppermint chocolate in desserts. Check the WS web site for recipes.
    I remember getting a hand-out from one of their demos with recipes for their hot chocolate. Sorry I don't know where it is.

      Thanks for your reply - Yes, exactly just that tin. We have the regular chocolate one, and really don't know what to do.

      They don't seem to have that product listed on their site anymore, since it's seasonal. What a bummer!
