A bunch of old deadheads, now and always chows, will be in town for the historical museum exhibit, plus other things. Where to go for lunch Saturday after the museum, upper west side?

  1. Not certain what "bunch" means (or, some of the other modifiers!), but here goes. The UWS is not exactly gourmet heaven, but there are plenty of OK places that may fit your bill:
Isabella's and Ocean Grill (www.brguestrestaurants.com) are within walking distance of the UWS museums. Both offer outside seating (not sure the weather will favor this). If you can give us a better idea of your numbers, budget, and food constraints, it will help. In any event, have a great day!!

Note: One difference between Isabella's and Ocean Grill for brunch: Ocean Grill takes reservations, Isabella's does not. Otherwise same ownership, same solid, very reasonable brunch/lunch menu.

    2. An idea of the size of your group, food likes and dislikes and price range will generate more useable responses.

      1. to me deadheads suggests communal happenings in Central Park - if the weather cooperates - i'd go to shake shack a few burgers and such to go - and play in the park.

        1. Shake Shack on 77th and Columbus Ave!
          awesome burgers!!

          1. while i don't love their new menu changes, Cafe Ronda (Columbus/71st) is a comfy place for a group and seems to fit the OP's criteria...

            1. Go to Pio Pio on Amsterdam and 94th. Probably a group, I mean a bunch, should have a reservation.
