ISO Macarons in Halifax

c.cow Apr 14, 2010 05:41 PM

Hi all,

A visitor from the Toronto board doing the bidding of a Montrealer friend living in Halifax with major cravings for French macarons/macaroons (If Laduree says they mean the same thing, who am I to argue?).

Any leads? They don't have to be great, though that would be a plus.

Thanks in advance!

The only macarons that I've seen here were from Gourmandise Avenue patisserie - it was a rather sad looking chocolate one without and lacked the proper "foot" that a good macaron will have. Honestly I haven't seen any here much to my chagrin! I love them and stuff myself silly when I see them in other places!

Sorry not to be much help!
