Where can I find fresh lemongrass in Atlanta?

I shop at Publix and Kroger, and the only lemongrass they have is a bastardized version in a tube. Where can I find fresh lemongrass stalks? Also, where can I find quality Asian ingredients? I would so love some Chinese buns. BTW, my area is limited by MARTA, so I can't go gallivanting all over the place.

Buford Highway Farmer's Market:. It will have everything you need.

Take train to Doraville Station, walk N up New Peachtrree about 1/2 mile, right on Longmire, and there you are.

Or, take the 104 train up New Peachtree, or even 124 train to Buford Hwy.

Thank you! Thank you! I finally got around to going to Buford Highway Farmer's Market. It was GREAT!! I only had time to explore a few aisles, but I will be making many more trips. It had everything I was looking for. I was squealing in delight when I entered the produce department. So many things!! I'm so happy! YAY!!

I was in Whole Foods on Ponce the other day and believe I saw some there. Worth checking if the alternative is a hike.

They also had pre-packaged sugarcane "swizzle sticks" for $5. Amazing what folks will pay for what $0.50 and a sharp knife will do. And no wonder they call it "Whole Paycheck."

You could also hit just about any of the groceries on Buford Hwy. You didn't really give much detail on your transportation situation.

I'll hop on buses and on the train. I'll go almost where ever MARTA can take me, but if it's gonna take me more than 2 hours to get there, I won't go.

And I hate going to Whole Paycheck, although I really like their smoked meats.

I was thinking of going there one Saturday, but since it will be such a trek for me, I have to summon up the will to go.
