Bread & Butter--Yes to that!
I had dinner at this charming spot last evening and it was delightful. The place is elegant yet there's a cozy, comfortable element that makes it relaxing. The fried chicken was great--very moist with a super crunchy coating. Really good cole slaw too. They put down a basket of bread with a wonder, warm biscuit and a piece of corn bread with butter to start as well as bread and butter pickles. All delicious. The butterscotch pudding was great too. I'm going back.
I'm curious as to what others think of the butterscotch pudding there. I had it once and it was, by far, the worst pudding I'd had in my entire life. There was absolutely nothing about it that tasted remotely like butterscotch, it had an odd texture, and ultimately we decided that it was likely Cool Whip Lite with a few drops of food coloring and a dash of vanilla.
