Specialty Grocers open late

Specifically, I'm trying to find a place with wild salmon, and of lesser importance, organic creme fraiche (if anyone's wondering, I'm making Thomas Keller's Salmon Tartare dish). I was hoping to hit Bi-Rite on my way home from work, but I'm not going to make it there before 9pm, was wondering if there are any high-quality specialty grocers open until 10, or even midnight during the week. I know that Safeway doesn't have organic creme fraiche, and while they may even carry wild salmon, I would be somewhat suspicious of it.

  1. Too late to help, but I think most Whole Foods are open until 10. I'm still mentally adjusting to the idea that there are now 4 or 5 of them in San Francisco and it is much easier to get decent groceries just about anywhere compared to 5 years ago.

    1. If you are over in the East Bay Rockridge Market Hall is open until 8:00. Hapuku Fish shop will usually have wild salmon and the Pasta Shop will have the creme fraiche.
