dinner reco for school trip to downtown toronto?

Looking for a dinner reco for a school trip to downtown Toronto for 24 grade 11-12 students.
Somewhere inexpensive but that takes reservations. We'll be in the Front/John area and could walk a few blocks. Pizza and burgers would be perfect.

There's a ball game on and Joe Badali, Gretsky's, Copper Creek and Lone Star are already booked.

Its pizza but not burgers: It Fornello in the entertainment district. It is quite large & good food & comparable in price to anything else you will find down there.

You might try Jack Astor's.

There is one at Front and University and another at Richmond and John (either are about a ten minute walk). It's no favourite of mine, but it's similar to your other picks and would probably satisfy a group of hungry teens.

You could try to Acme Bar & Grill: I haven't been there in years and don't even know if it's still open. Can't think of much else that fits your description in the area, though. Here's the information I found online (no website):
