Ok ok ok, I must admit...I'm a wings fanatic and when it comes to delicious wings - I'm all ears and would love recommendations to get not only the best buffalo wings in town but they best wings period...whether breaded, bbq, teriyaki, or even scarpariello. Any places you know of that are must haves? Here are 5 picks for you to check out if you haven't already.

1. Waterfront Ale House (30th & 2nd Ave) Spicy Wings...with homemade sauce and chunky Blue Cheese
2. Tebaya Japanese Style Wings 19th between 6th & 7th Ave (Double Fried, Ginger Sesame, with Teriyaki Glaze)
3. Carmines (Time Square) Amazing Scarpariello Wings!
4. Bonelick Park (West Village) BBQ Hot Spot
5. Blue Smoke (Gramercy) BBQ

I heard Dinosaur BBQ is good too...but haven't been yet to sample the goods...

Look forward to your recommendations!

Dinosaur BBQ's wings are amazing, i'll attest to that. I also really enjoy the wings at Brother Jimmy's surprisingly enough. Think the wings at Momofuku are totally overrated (though I love the place still), and for more classic hot wings i think Blondies is the best.

      2. I definitely want to hit up Blondies too...people are telling me it's between Atomic and Blondies for good Buffalo Wings... I've had Atomic Wings..they are good but maybe because I went to college upstate and had these types of wings several times in my life...to me they're straight up bar food wings...buffalo style,,,, and don't have any signature taste that perhaps my spoiled taste buds are looking for... I'm looking for a little twist of flavor or an out of site hot sauce/tabasco sauce/rub that put the wings in the THESE ARE INCREDIBLE category... but I'll def hit up Blondies and see what its all about...

        1. I thought Rathbone's on the UES were pretty good buffalo wings, but I've only been one time.
Trying to get downtown to Croxley Ale House soon for their 10 cent wing night.

Also enjoy Rathbones. Especially for their 25 cent wings and $9 pitchers on Wednesdays.

          2. 20 years ago, not long after Blue Moon on 75th and 1st opened, they used to have an all you can eat wing night once a week. We used to leave when our lips were too swollen to talk. Went back about 5 years ago for a wedding in the neighborhood and they were still pretty damned good!
