AKA pork rinds. They do it right in Louisiana and there are lots of places to get fresh made cracklins there but I haven't found anything as good around here.
You want pretty much any Mexican market and ask for chicharones.
I think Esperanza's in the Stockyards has them, but I don't eat them so I wouldn't know if this is what you are looking for.
Pork Rinds are Cracklin wannabes! You won't find anything like the LA style around here. I always pick some on my way through to and from FLA. I even had some shipped in when i needed a fix.Good luck!
