Fresh tempeh in Toronto

Hey everyone,

After reading this post on fresh tempeh in Philadelphia - http://trueslant.com/kimodonnel/2010/... - I'm wondering if I can find some of this delicious stuff in Toronto. Are there any Indonesian food stores? Restaurants that make their own?

Thanks!

  1. Not sure whether they make it in-house, but I've had various forms of tempeh at Live Organic food Bar (on Dupont near Spadina). Most of their stuff is raw.

Yeah, I've been there -- but I've never thought to ask whether they make it in-house.

    2. I've never seen it sold fresh, only frozen at the Carrot and at St. Lawrence Market (soy store downstairs).
