Always looking for suggestions for quick and tasty delivery food (or take-away) for those nights when we don't want to cook or clean up.

Our current go-tos seem to be:

Thai House - so quick; consistent quality and delivery in under 30 mins usually
Incendio Pizza
Zaccary's Pizza
New Sun on Cambie - cheap and basic Western/Chinese food; definately not exceptional quality but the portions are large, food is tasty, and the price is right.

We don't tend to order much delivery these days. If we are feeling lazy, we just walk a couple of blocks to our usual Pho place.

Bo Laksa King was the last place I ordered delivery. The food took a bit longer than expected, but it was good. Go for the Burmese specials as those are the best things on there. Some of the dishes don't fare so well being delivered (eg the pad thai, etc.) - but that is par for the course.

We also order pizza from Pizzeria Ragazzi - but not in quite a while now.

I love Indian but the delivery times are usually really long, and the food is usually oily and disappointing. A few days ago I placed an order with Corner Tandoori and it was amazing. Everything we ordered was really good, and the vegetable biryani and chana masala were excellent, the portions were all generous, the prices were very reasonable, the delivery time was pretty quick, the customer service was great... Oh and the food wasn't greasy. Give it a try!

My last delivery was 'Mali Thai'. It was on an Olympic hockey night and it was fast and delicious!
If you're in the Kitsilano area, I highly recommend pick-up from 'Hapa Izakaya' or 'Trattoria Italian Kitchen'. The former makes you promise to eat it immediately upon returning home to ensure freshness as well as having food that looks good enough to eat straight from the take-away container (Tupperware in my case). The latter has a great special on their spaghetti and Kobe meatballs - $10 takeout on Monday nights.

My experience with Mali Thai was God awful. The appetizers were all deepfried, colourless and just not the kind of thing you'd even feed your dog. The Pad Thai was made with ketchup. Gross. I left a negative review on Yummyweb and the owner of Mali Thai phoned me a half dozen times to yell at me. Stay away from that place.
