Creminelli Salami, is it any good?[moved from Home Cooking board]

I am itching to push the order button but I am not sure if they'll be worth the price,

It's good and worth trying. But I prefer the salumi made by Bovolo.

Superb products made according to the family's original italian recipes and standards. In a league with Fra' Mani, Salumeria Biellese, La Quercia and Salumi--other outstanding makers of charcuterie in the US.

It is the best salame bar none you can find in the States -- by far. The US is running protectionism and won't allow any imports.

The website has a nice story about the founder, Cristiano Creminelli, who is fresh out of Italy from a family of salumai (salame makers); I bet his ancestors they were making salame in the middle ages!

I assume you're talking about the Gilt website. I'm tempted too.

Yes, they look good but I have never tried them.

I guess what kept me from ordering was that I tasted some really nice La Quercia prosciutto yesterday, and I'd like to try more of that!
