The Porch

Analisas mom Apr 12, 2010 07:58 AM

Had late lunch with the family Yesterday. One word Awesome. I had a bluecheesebuger, DH had the short ribs and little girl had Mac & Cheese. Finished off the meal with the shared Chocolate Pudding Sundae . Wow so good and great service sitting out on the Porch

I've got no problerm with the Porch. I think the food is good and coctail are creative. The fish and chips are as good as any in town.

Last time I was there I had the sliced steak and it came with some type of creole sauce. It was delicious. I want to make it. Anybody know the ingredients?

Across the street is an even better venue called Victor Tango's. No sidewalk dining but much better food an cocktails.

Henderson is a wonderland of good food and better cocktails. I would rate the NS cocktails as probably the best in Dallas. I have extolled the virtues of Victor tangos enough without them having to pay me for ad space across my butt. Great place for small plates and drinks indeed.

You will find me as a big fan of the Porch for many of the food items. Pass on the museels dish, however. Custom cocktails from the talented barstaff are whimsical.

I blame those brisket sliders for ending my run as a vegetarian. To that I say, thanks Porch!
