Pollo a la Brasa???

  • 1

Howdy all- Anyone know a place in Seattle to get for real pollo a la brasa? I used to be once a week at the legendary Pollo Rico in Arlington (VA), but the only place I've found in Seattle is the chicken place in Lynnwood (San Fernando, or something similar), which seemed initially promising but ultimately disappointing...plus, Lynnwood is just a really long way away. How has this dish not caught on in Seattle???

  1. In the summertime, Taqueria La Estacion in Burien will pull out a big grill astride the now-defunct drive-thru window (Estacion is housed inside a former Taco Bell) and grill some birds. I've never tried them myself, but the food there is generally pretty sold.

You say Lynnwood is far, but I like El Pollo Rico in Everett. Is it a copycat of the place you love? If you care enough, maybe you can find out. http://www.seattleweekly.com/2007-01-...
