restaurant for a private party

Can anyone recommend a restaurant that can do a great bar mitvah party for around 120 people on the UWS?

  1. Red Eye Grill hosts private parties upstairs. it's a bit further south than you may prefer, but not far...57th and 7th...my office holiday party has been held there for the past two years and everything was well cared for.

    1. Presuming the restaurant does not need to be kosher, and that cost is not an issue....

      If it must be on the UWS, I think you will be hard-pressed to find a restaurant that has a private room which can accommodate 120 for a sit-down meal. Instead, you will probaby have to book a restaurant's entire main dining room. With that in mind, two restaurants to look into: Porter House and Compass.
