I've eaten there a few times and it isn't bad. THe jalepeno corn bread with maple butter was always good. But it has been quite some time since I have eaten there, like 5 years.

Seats? There's a row encircling the balcony and a bit more on the side, which are usually for foundation members only. Food is ok, menu reads better than it eats. We got suckered into dinner awhile back b/c it put you in the prority line for the show. Not a place I would normally choose. We have on occassion stopped in the bar for dessert only. The key lime pie and bread pudding were really good, impressive for HOB, and generous. Funny thing, they serve some of the best tasting coffee in NOLA. It's some kind of commercial deal produced by Douwe Egberts. Don't know if they're still using it. Anyway, enjoy the show!
