Jewish rye in Nashville

Cameraman Apr 9, 2010 12:01 PM

I'm smoking a couple of corned beefs on Sunday and would love to have a nice crusty Jewish rye, seeds and all, on hand. Where can I find the good stuff. TIA

    It's in Clarksville..

You can order online...and I'm pretty sure you can find it at a few different places in Nashville...now if I can only remember where..

Hopefully you'll find something you like...

    And there's always Provence....

I had the same dilemma for St. Patty's day, ended getting a loaf from Panera which was suprisingly good...nothing close to authentic Jewish rye but good in a pinch, problem is the Panera by me doesnt always carry it so you may want to call around to see who has one.
Good luck with the corned beef...never thought of smoking it..probably very yummy!

It's my first crack at it.. Deli's my favorite and as you've undoubtedly noticed, Southern deli is sort of deli so I've been forced to pursue Jewbecue.

I'm pretty sure Noshville could hook you up? You might also call Provence or Bread and Co. And you can get Silke's bread at both Marche and Mitchell Deli in East Nashville (but I would call ahead because their breads are on a weekly schedule).
