Searching for Sweetbreads

Will be in town next week and would love to find someplace where my sister & I could feast on sweetbreads, preferably Village to midtown west side. We'd love to find a small plates place (so far, have come up with Recette and Abbocatto, which is around the corner from her.) Not looking for a major full dinner extravaganza.
Any thoughts? All will be appreciated.

I enjoyed the sweetbreads (grilled) at Gramercy Tavern (Tavern Room, sitting at the bar). Casa Mono also has good ones that are fried.

Thanks to all the hounds who made a recommendation on my sweetbread search. Unfortunately the sibling unit had already made other dinner plans for us on Sat, so I'll save my organ cravings for the next trip in.

If it's gotta be somewhere that you can pop in, just order sweetbreads at the bar/counter, and then move onto your next destination, I would try Sorella.

Just had dinner at Recette this week and did not try the sweetbreads, but everything we had was so delicious I'm sure they would be too. SD26 serves small plates, and their sweetbreads were delicious. Tabla also has a sweetbreads appetizer which is wonderful.

How about at lunch? Jean Georges offers the 2 for $29 lunch deal, and EMP's is 2 for $28. Sensational sweetbreads dishes on both menus.

Best sweetbreads I've had were at Landmarc (have only had them at the location in the time warner center) and Babbo.
