Maialino's food is delicious, and there is a private room which I think can accommodate 15. There are photos of it on their website: http://www.maialinonyc.com
Photos of one of several meals we've had at Maialino can be viewed here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/11863391...

I say this everytime someone asks - get a private room at Aroma wine bar. It's a tiny place on E 4th with a full menu. The private rooms are thru the back courtyard and down some stairs, then thru the kitchen and its in a beautiful old cellar. Bricks, wooden ceilings etc. Plus their food is phenomenal the wine steward is awesome. It's a tiny place, but I can't imagine anyone who's been there doesn't love it. Man I should be their marketing manager.

Check out STK's private rooms. They have open bar and preset menu options for large parties. I recently threw a birthday event in one of their larger private rooms for a party of 20 people. Perfect space for standing, lounging and dining-- we had a fireplace in the room and a private satellite bar as well. It was a perfect venue!
