Barbecue Along I-59 (between Birmingham & Hattiesburg)
I'll be driving this stretch of I-59 a couple times next week and would appreciate any suggestions for barbecue lunch stops. I've been to Dreamland, Bob Sykes, Archibald's, and Full Moon (the latter two being my favorites of the 4) and would like to try something new (unless of course those are my best options). Any suggestions?

This place serves outstanding country food and steaks at night. It's been here a while. It's just a few miles off I 59 at Hwy. 14 NW of Eutaw, AL. Looks like a good place to stop for lunch.

This place is not BBQ but it's got an excellent reputation for country style meals and outstanding steaks. It's just north of Bay Minette a few miles off I 65 at Hwy. 59. Pretty much in the country. Should be good.

The Cotton Patch was a wonderful, unique place for supper - but it's been closed now for at least two or three years.

...but then it closed again after that article (sewer pipe problem from the nearby construction of a Bingo parlor, I think) and if you call their number today, it's disconnected.
