Cheaper quality restaurants near Rue du Louvre at Rue Coquilleres?

Staying this summer. The Louvre-Rivoli is the nearest Metro station. I'll be with a lot of college kids. While we're at it, any great bars in the area? If not, where's the nearest cheaper entertainment district? Thanks for the inside scoop in advance.

There is a sizeable bar at #44, rue du Louvre, called Promenade. Happy hour, burgers etc, everything you are no doubt trying to escape from, right?

I'm afraid the two best places (Chez la Vielle Adrienne and Spring) are out of your college kid price range but the Spring Boutique (on l'Arbre Sec) for take home and bar with light fare in the cave at the Spring on the rue Bailleul, which should be open then, are.
