DaNali's Restaurant in Chicago Closed

The latest from the CRC is that, DaNali's, the dairy restaurant in Skokie, is closed and there is no word yet of anyone taking over.

Heard from a pretty reliable source that they are planning on reopening in about a month or so. Not sure if it's the same owners.

Whether you are one of those that hated it or one of those that thought it was the best pizza in Chicago, it is a shame that another Chicago area restaurant closed. What is it with our fair city?

Crappy economy impacts everyone. People are looking for value and if the food is good (and consistent) they'll maintain a good revenue stream. But even the ones who are willing to weather the storm - and are producing good product - are experiencing a downturn.

Oh wow, that's kind of sad. I wasn't their biggest fan, but I did like their stuffed mushrooms. Oh well. At least we still have Tel Aviv:)
