westborough lunch

Hi all. My company is having a training at the westborough residence inn this thursday and a group of us are looking for a decent lunch spot. It will be a group of about 12-15 people. Not looking for anything to high end and need vegetarian options as well as basics. We've already done asian this month so that cusine is probably out. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

In downtown Westboro there's Tavolino and Ted's Montana Grill in Bay State Commons. Also in downtown is Hisa Japanese restaurant and a few other little diners (South Street Diner and Christina's Cafe, both OK, but not super special). On Route 9 west of where you'll be is Harry's (diner). On Route 135 is JP's - good lobster rolls and pub food, but not much in the way of vegetarian. I'd go for either Tavolino or Hisa.

El Basha is very near, has great food, veg options, sandwiches, meat. It's yummy and BYO if you choose. Tomasso Tratoria in Southboro isn't too far either.

I have to second El Basha. It is right near your hotel and the food is great. Huge portions. Call ahead to have them set up a large enough table. Tomassos is very good too, but they are a bit pricier.

sapporo bbq in westboro has a great lunch buffet
